★ Heidi & Andy ★ was born from the collaboration of two friends with a common passion for the visual arts, including drawing and art print. In 2001, Heidi Deschênes-Doré and Andréanne Bouchard (Andy) met in a sculpture workshop at university. A few years later, they came up with the idea to create jewlery from their drawings. Thanks to their collaboration, they have designed small works to be worn as accessories (earrings, pendants, etc.). In 2016, Heidi took over this project on her own and continues to develop new designs. Occasionally, Andréanne assists in the printing of silk-screen labels.

HEIDI★
Enjoying arts since her childhood, Heidi holds a Bachelor in Visual Arts and in Art Education from UQAM. She has since experimented with several techniques such as painting, watercolor, collage, drawing, ceramics, printing, photography, video, casting, resin, wood and snow sculpture, scenography and puppet design. Today, she remains inspired to work with small objects, jewelry, miniature art, dioramas and scale models. Heidi has been present on Etsy since 2006.

Heidi teaches arts full-time in elementary schools in western Montreal. She draws inspiration from her interest in arts, design, nature, childhood memories and travel to create new images and ensure the continuity of Heidi&Andy on a part-time basis.
